Terms of Service

Last updated: 30 July 2026 · applies to elastbiz.com and the Elastbiz cloud service

These terms govern your use of the Elastbiz websites and cloud service provided by Elastcode Ltd, a company registered in Cyprus, of Paphos, Cyprus ("Elastcode", "we", "us"). If you install and run Elastbiz on your own server, the EULA and the Elastic License v2 govern that instead. By creating an account you accept these terms.

1. The service

Elastbiz is a business platform whose products — among them Tables, Code, Mail, Files and Connect — share one database. We may add, change or retire individual features; where a change materially reduces what you paid for, we will tell you in advance.

2. Accounts and administrators

  • You must give accurate registration details and keep your credentials secure.
  • A workspace belongs to one legal entity. Its administrators can add, remove and change the access of other users, and act on behalf of that entity.
  • You are responsible for what the users of your workspace do with it.

3. Fees, billing and renewal

  • Subscriptions are priced flat per product per month, not per user. Adding people does not increase the subscription fee.
  • Payment is taken through Stripe. Subscriptions renew automatically for the same period until cancelled, and you may cancel at any time with effect from the end of the paid period.
  • Prices exclude VAT and any other applicable taxes, which are added where required.
  • Self-hosting is free of charge under the Elastic License v2.

4. AI work and prepaid balance

AI build work is charged separately from subscriptions, from a prepaid balance. We quote the estimated cost before the work runs, we charge the actual cost of the work plus our stated margin, and we ask you before exceeding an estimate. Generated output is produced by an automated system: you are responsible for reviewing it before relying on it, and we give no warranty that generated code or business rules are fit for a particular purpose.

5. Acceptable use

You may not use the service to:

  • break the law, or infringe someone else's rights;
  • send unsolicited bulk email, or operate a mail service designed to evade spam controls;
  • host or distribute malware, phishing content, or material depicting the abuse of children;
  • mine cryptocurrency, or run workloads whose purpose is to consume disproportionate resources;
  • attack, scan or attempt to gain unauthorised access to any system, ours or a third party's;
  • resell or provide the hosted service to third parties as your own managed service.

We may suspend a workspace immediately where continued operation would harm other customers, our infrastructure or a third party, and we will tell you why.

6. Your data

You own the data you put into your workspace. We process it to operate the service, as described in the Privacy Policy, and for no other purpose. You may export your data at any time while the account is active. On termination we retain it for 30 days so you can recover it, then delete it.

7. Availability and support

We aim for continuous availability but do not offer a service level guarantee on free or self-hosted use. Planned maintenance is announced where it will be disruptive. Support is provided by email at the scope described for your plan.

8. Suspension and termination

You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate for unpaid fees after notice, for breach of the acceptable use rules, or where required by law. Termination does not refund fees already paid for the current period unless the law requires it.

9. Warranties and liability

The service is provided as it is and as available. To the extent permitted by law we exclude implied warranties. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, or lost data where you had the ability to export or self-host it. Our total liability in any twelve month period is limited to the fees you paid us in that period. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

10. Changes, law and venue

We may change these terms; material changes are announced on this page and by email to account holders, and take effect for the next billing period. These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Cyprus, and the courts of Cyprus have jurisdiction. Contact: hello@elastbiz.com.
