Mail runs its own SMTP/IMAP/POP3 server with real domain authority — DKIM keys live in your admin console, not with a relay vendor. Outbound relay observability means every message state (queued, deferred, bounced, delivered) is a structured row, so debugging a deliverability regression is a search, not a support ticket. Inbound mail can route to an AI worker with a Mail-scoped token that classifies, drafts, and opens rows in other apps.
