# Elastbiz

> Elastbiz is one system that runs a small business: your customers, orders, invoices, files, email, chat and code all live in the same place and share one database. An AI assistant can build new apps for you from a plain-English description, and can work across everything you already have. You pay a flat monthly price per app — not per person — and you can run it on our cloud or on your own server.

## Who it is for
Small and mid-sized businesses (roughly 1-50 people) who are paying for four or five separate tools that do not talk to each other, and who do not want to pay per seat as the team grows.

## What you get
- **Tables** — your business data: customers, orders, inventory, bookings. Replaces Airtable, Monday.com, Notion databases. $50/month flat, any number of users.
- **Mail** — real business email on your own domain (Exchange-class features).
- **Files** — file storage for the business.
- **Connect** — team chat, including video calls.
- **Code** — git hosting with AI code review.
- **AI Maker** — describe an app in plain language and an AI worker builds it inside your business, using the same data and the same users as everything else.

## In development (not yet shipped)
- **Elastbiz Home** is a consumer voice assistant for shopping, diet, medicine, budget and calendar,
  built on the same substrate. It is in development and not generally available. The business
  platform described above is what ships today.

## What makes it different
- **One database under everything.** Your invoices, files, email and chat are the same system, so the AI can answer questions and act across all of them. Most competitors keep each app in its own silo.
- **Flat pricing, not per-seat.** Adding people does not increase the bill.
- **Self-hosted or cloud.** You can run the whole platform on your own server, so your data never leaves your infrastructure — which is how the GDPR story is honoured by design rather than by policy.
- **AI that changes a running system**, not just a chatbot: it creates tables, fills them, and writes business rules ("when an invoice is overdue and nobody has been told, notify the owner").

## Pricing
- Flat monthly per product, not per user. Tables is $50/month.
- A $3/month empty workspace is available as a starting point.
- AI build work is paid from a prepaid balance. The cost is quoted before the work runs, and the final charge is the actual cost plus a stated margin.
